Decorations fill the Hallways at Bacon for Read Across America Day 2013

What a great day! Monday was Read Across America Day at Bacon School.  Celebrating Reading is a great way to spend the day. We had outstanding readers from the Millville Senior High come over and share Dr. Seuss Books! Our reader was Coach Kessler, and he did a great job reading The Cat in the Hat.
Other classes were read to by members of the Football, Basketball, and Track teams from the Senior High.  McKenzie  visited us and helped with an Art/Math project of the Cat... Take a look-

Kiddos and McKenzie with their Cat project in progress. We used our thumbprints to create "arrays" and kept track of the number of prints we made for each color. Paintings are hung in the classroom and are Seusstastic!

We also had some Seusstastic Costumes and Hats!

We also made some One Fish Two Fish jello, it was yummy and gross at the same time, lol. Hope you all have a great week!
Remember if you want to come in and read, help out in class, or practice some math facts please email me or call and we will set something up!
As always thank you for your help and support, its what makes our class so successful.
